A . FEATURES : 1. This device is used for cardiac ablation procedures and is connected to a separately approved catheter and catheter sheath. 2. During the treatment process, once the treatment location is determined by the medical professional, the catheter is moved to the desired location through the sheath. The catheter is then shaped into a flower or basket shape and placed in contact with the treatment area, where pulsed field energy is delivered. 3. Pulsed field ablation energy intensities can be set to three levels: 1.8kV, 1.9kV, and 2.0kV. Each energy delivery takes 2.5 seconds, and eight energy deliveries are made to each of the four pulmonary veins. 4. This device selectively targets myocardial cells, minimizing damage to the phrenic nerve and esophagus, making it safer than conventional procedures (radiofrequency catheter ablation and cryoballoon ablation).
